Reaching out to consumers at the mashinani level.

As a consumer, to make the right choices, you must be adequately armed with enough information to handle this deluge.
The average consumer in Kenya has access to absolutely no information on safety of products in the market. Shockingly, this is particularly true of household electrical appliances, health products, food products, cosmetics and toiletries. Hence relying on the manufacturer’s claims with no guidelines to decide whether the product matches the needs.
Manufacturers and distributors do not necessarily disseminate enough information to the user to enable consumers make informed choices, resulting to lack of satisfaction.
At times products in the market are unsafe due to compromised standards during manufacturing.
This led to the registration of Consumers Grassroots Association (CGA) as a National Consumer Body. With over 4 years experience in the consumer rights advocacy , we continue to build an effective and meaningful lobby to represent consumers. We believe in building the consumers voice; sauti ya mwananchi.
